NVH Engineer—R&D
1. Lead and perform developments and studies of NVH (noise, vibrations, harshness) technologies and techniques in support of tire development programs (Replacement and OE), 2. RESPONSIBILITIES 3. Improve the current state of the art (tools, methods, knowledge, ...) 4. Support tire designers (RE and OE) engineers and OEM with tire performances predictions and analysis 5. Support semi-anechoic chamber installation and set up: tests method, standards tests, SOP, etc… 6. Assume and take the technical responsibility in some projects requiring NVH expertise (pre-development for new tire brands, key OE projects…)

MISSION:

 

1. Lead and perform developments and studies of NVH (noise, vibrations, harshness) technologies and techniques in support of tire development programs (Replacement and OE),

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

3. Improve the current state of the art (tools, methods, knowledge, ...)

4. Support tire designers (RE and OE) engineers and OEM with tire performances predictions and analysis

5. Support semi-anechoic chamber installation and set up: tests method, standards tests, SOP, etc

6. Assume and take the technical responsibility in some projects requiring NVH expertise (pre-development for new tire brands, key OE projects)

 

ACTIVITIES:

 

1. manage and handle NVH requests and studies, analyze and validate the results in the suitable format

2. Analyze technical problems and choose the most suitable tools for the solution

3. Provide inputs to define the DOE (design of experiments) to tire designers (RE and OE) and maintain technical requirements database (worldwide, accessible and consultable by all R&D teams)

4. Regularly document and communicate the NVH deliverables in form of standard reports

5. Participate in the validation of new design/simulation NVH tools and deploy them within a defined perimeter (e.g., RFQ for 3rd party)

6. Organize the capitalization of knowledge and know-how of NVH (documentation, data base, NVH design etc.)

7. Actively participate to Design Event related to new product development and key OE projects

 

PRE-REQUIREMENT:

 

1. At least master degree in mechanical or related engineering field

2. Minimum 5 years of recent relevant experience in tire industry

3. Good knowledge of tire specification, tire design

4. familiar with FEA analysis

 

5. good level of Englis
